I am reluctant to shill like this, but nobody has bid. Nine days ago
I put up on eBay copies of the last two issues of Jack Chalker's
fanzine, which were mixed in with his author's copies of his novels,
which I have been trying to sell for his widow.

An HPL reprint of an essay, new material by Donald Fryer, H.S.
Weatherby (anybody remember him these days?), Paul Willis, H. Warner
Munn, Tim Powers, and letters from E. Hoffman Price and H.L. Gold.
Also wonderful covers by David Prosser

Maybe at a minimum of $3 for the two I put it too high, but as I said
nobody has yet bid, and it goes off in 31 hours asof 4PM EST.

Well, it appears that we can watch Scott and Todd fight it out... But
is there a sniper lurking? Only time will tell. Wink

Mark: If I may make a suggestion, eBay is an excellent venue for
material like this. Mike Resnick and Allen Koszowski both do very well
with fanzines and ephemera. So if there's more material from Jack's
collection...

Of course, if you put up any of those copies of the Nigel Kneale book
from George Locke that you mentioned a while back, they should do
very, very nicely as well...

Cheers,

John

I have been reluctatnt to put up the Nigel Kneale copies, since I have
not had much luck with eBay -- this is the first time there has been
more than one bid on anything.

Not much more from Jack's collection, really. A couple of copies of
the 1970 issue, some loose copies of Fantasy Review that he had
material in. A big pile of comics I will take up to a comics shop to
talk to the owner about -- the clerk I talked to said it was out of
his depth. Some Mirage Press books that were supposedly out of print
30 years ago are going on ABEbooks.

Unfortunately, I was so excited to see the Smith, I did not have
enough sense to read the entire list before placing my order.
