Is this for the main Honor series, or is it the follow up to Shadow of
Saganami?

Apparently the followup to Shadow.

Given that in the main series, Mike has been reassigned to the Talbot
Cluster, because her parole from the Havenites after her release forbade
her from taking part in action against Haven, I'd say that this is a
followup to SoS, starting with a brief flashback to when Mike got
captured.

/Storm from the Shadows/ is the direct sequel to /Shadow of
Saganami/.

It is currently scheduled for a March 2009 release.

Yeah, my assumption was that it was a Shadow of Saganami
sequel due to the word "Shadow" in the title. Pretty thin assumption,
but what the heck.

All I found out is that an alien likes Ovalqwik, enough to spark an
ill-fated shopping trip. I'll have to look at the page more carefully.

Earlier, I had heard that the follow-up to Crown of Slaves and Shadow
of Saganami would be coming first.

The opening chapter is a space battle involving Honor Harrington,
which would tend to indicate the former, but all the teaser snippets
are about Manpower, which would tend to indicate the latter - so I
suppose the latter is almost certainly the case.

But the opening battle is one we've already seen, from a different PoV.
It's the one that results in Mike Henke being reassigned to the Talbot
Sector.

It is? I hadn't noticed. I was assuming that this was some new battle in
the Talbot Cluster for some reason. I'll have to go back and re-read it
more closely.

Thanks for the observation!

If Dave's showing a previous battle from Henke's perception to open
the book, it makes me wonder if we're going to get more detail on
Henke's time as a "guest", a POW of the Republic of Haven.
