Hi all,
GenCon Indy was a lot of fun! The weekend also contained some
frustrations for me (I got lost about 6 times), but I thoroughly enjoyed my
visit with Katherine and my Deryni group friends.
The big news is that Ann has finished the poster-sized map! It's gorgeous!
Ann did a super job on it. It was $18 at the con but that didn't include
shipping. It's well-worth the price. Ann promises to have the FUDGE Deryni
Adventure game ready by Darkover. The Atlas and the Deryni Magic book will
not be ready until 2004. Check out Ann's website:

I didn't arrive in time for Katherine's Q&A session Saturday morning, but Rita
said Katherine mentioned that ACE is seriously considering doing a Deryni Tales
II and a Templar Anthology IV. (As I've probably mentioned previously I
couldn't go to Indy until Saturday because Friday was my dad's birthday. Had
I not gotten lost, I might have arrived by 10:30 and heard part of the Q&A).
From what Rita told me, most of what Katherine said in the Q&A has already been
stated in chat.
I don't really have much else to report that's actually news. I enjoyed
meeting Katherine's half-sister, Brenda, and I think we have her convinced to
come to Darkover, so more of you will meet her then. We had a lovely Italian
dinner Sunday night with a superb chocolate cake dessert. (Thanks Ann!)
Hope everyone's having a good summer!
