Hi Friends,
Sorry I've been out of touch for a while. The good news is that
mom is better. Kidney numbers are almost back to normal and she won't
need dialysis, thank God. Unfortunately, to get her kidneys working
they stuffed her with fluids which caused pulmonary edema, so now we
can't do 10 hours of CPAP. We just graduated to 10 hours of CPAP
(independent breathing) and now the now the pulmonary edema and
congestive heart failure associated with the fluid overflow make that
impossible. So that slows the breathing progress for a few days.
She's still fighting the infections but we're progressing on that front too.
Please keep the prayers coming!
Thanks!
Love,
Susan
