Susan update 11/17

Hi all,
Overall, Mom is improving. White count is normal, so no
infections. She's handling food from feed tube and what she's given by
the speech therapist. Yesterday she got very feisty and said that she
wanted food, wanted to walk, and wanted to go home. The only problem
at this point is that she's still having a lot of breathing trouble and
isn't doing well on getting off the vent. That's probably because
she's still got some pulmonary edema and she's weak from the whole
bleeding ulcer thing. So we have to pray hard that she gets back to
being able to breathe on her own.
