Did we agree to all abrr type people presenting RR with a packet of the
official newsgroup biscuit?
The only problem I can see with this is that RR may be so overwelemd
with jaffa Cakes that he decides to write a book about them with the
obvious side effect of making them very much *on topic*.

I think I should have cut those events off... They are official
Sproutlore type stuff and involve memberships and cover charges and
the like (and you'll hear about them if you are a member of sproutlore
soon enough, not that I am but I know a man who is  ).
As for giving RR a jaffa cake, he'd probably accept it and then hint
you should buy him a beer to wash it down with.

Hmm - how about presenting him with a packet of 'own-brand' jaffa cakes?
That should be just as confusing for him, while keeping more of the good

Ah, yes. So they are, well I feel a bit better about not being able to
make them now...
I really must get around to sending off my seven quid (or whatever it is
now) to join the club.

Prompted by this I've finally got round to sending a cheque off today
I quite fancy the picnic actually, it's a long way for a pint and a
sarnie but god willing picnicers will be feasting on Jaffas, just hope
they don't make the Large taste funny.
