Sam crept closer. Yes, someone was in Master Frodo's pantry! There were
unmistakable sounds of someone wolfing down food, smacking, slurping. Was
Master Fatty back on an unannounced visit? Sam flung open the pantry door.
It was a Balrog! There it stood, holding a piece of bread dripping with
honey in one hand and a jug of milk in the other, chewing and swallowing.
When it saw Sam, it blushed and tried to hide the stolen food behind its
back.
"Hello", it said, trying to sound nonchalant. "I just thought I'd pop in
to inform your master that he can't borrow my wings for the masquerade ball.
They are still at the drycleaners."

Silly Ojevind. Everyone knows that Balrogs don't have wings.
