I have the unabridged version of LoTR read by Rob Inglis. I was wondering
if anyone has an opinion on any of the dramatizations done for the LoTR or
the Hobbit. I spend a lot of time in the car so looking for some
entertainment.

I bought 'The Hobbit' (unabridged) read by Rob Inglis for my daughter. She
loves it and I find it good (aside from a few mispronunciations)

I got all 3 of the BBC dramatisations on cassette for £40 in
Waterstone's but that was cos it was buy 2 get 1 free. They're pretty
good, though there is someone in the prologue who sounds like one of
the Knights who say Ni when he's talkling to Gollum. It's quite weird
listening to Ian Holm as Frodo since I kept thinking "No, he plays
Bilbo".

The guy who did the voice of Gollum (Peter Woodthrope) also did the
voice in Ralph Bakshi's version of LOTR.
