I have permission from Evergreen Books to distribute an excerpt from
Book I, "Christopher's Adventures in Evergreen: The Story of a Boy and
a Tree That has come to Life." The excerpt I am distributing is from
Chapter 1, "The Tall Sir."

It's the story of a boy, lost deep in the forest, who meets a walking,
talking tree. The tree wants to help Christopher find his way back,
but they end up traveling through a hidden magic door, which leads
them into a society of trees and a fascinating adventure. Superbly
told and populated with allegorical characters, the story is infused
with the timeless issues of good and evil, faith and hope.

To get the excerpt, send me an e-mail with the subject line, "Send
Evergreen" and I will reply with a text file. Or if you'd like to view
a longer excerpt and learn more about all four books in the Adventures
in Evergreen series, go to
http://www.evergreen-books.com.
