Unfortunately, the publisher recently stopped putting numbers on books, as
of a couple years ago. I think the idea was that the high numbers was
scaring away potential readers, putting them off with the feeling that
they'd "missed to much to catch up." I don't know if that's true or not,
but I can say that by STOPPING the numbering, and by making every book that
comes out in a series cross over with the other series, they're about to
lose this reader, and I've been reading (and buying) every Trek book since
the '70s. It's just gotten to damn hard to keep up with them and to know
what's new, what's coming out, what I've got and what I don't. Add to that
the sneaky reissuing of two or three old books in a new form as a single
book without bothering to mention that they're reprints, and it makes it
really hard to justify continuing to spend money on books I'm working harder
and harder to find and enjoying less and less. To top it all off, for the
past several years, it seems like every book has to involve some huge threat
to the entire galaxy, whereas in years and decades past, there was a mix of
galaxy-shaking stories and smaller, more personal stories.
Anyway, that's my rant. As far as finding a list of all the books, give
this a shot:

most noble impulses often surface during the most tyring of times, that
human spirit rises to the challenge when faced with adversity, that human
strength is born from human failings...Is it any wonder, then, that the
SDF-1 crew became a tighter family after the fortress had been exiled than
it had been before?
