Being a fan of Asimov, this review so angered me I just had to share it with
other fans of Asmiov.

Source: Channel4 teletext. Page 315.

Reviewer Paul Arendt.

According to the credits, I, Robot is "suggested" by the short stories of
Isaac Asimov.

The stories in question are largely philosophical, dealing with Asimov's
"three laws of robotics" - which prevent robots from harming humans - and
the subtle ways in which those laws can be circumvented.

Asimov was not a great writer, so we shouldn't get too upset about Hollywood
messing with his legacy.

Ok, I have cut the rest of the review as it deals with the film. This kind
of review is extremely insulting and damaging. This kind of hackwork is
hardly going to inspire anyone to pick up and read Asimov's work. (my blood
is boiling)

Some ideas and input on composing a suitably snotty reply would be good...

Regards

Dave
