The Underfoot Book Forum's Eclectic Mix Book Club has announced its
JULY 2004 Book of the Month: Beyond the Deepwoods (Edge Chronicles),
by Paul Stewart and Chris Riddell.

Beyond the Deepwoods, (only released in America June 1st, 2004), is
the first book in a series of British children's stories (The Edge
Chronicles). Although its intended audience is children (9-12), it has
gained a following in the adult world. The story caught my attention;
the praise from adult readers made me want to read it. Hopefully this
little oddity will fit nicely into our eclectic mix (and give everyone
a break after last month's grammar manual).
