The Underfoot Book Forum's New Fiction Book Club has announced its
JULY 2004 Book of the Month: the curious incident of the dog in the
night-time, by Mark Haddon.

The title is taken directly from a tale of Sherlock Holmes', and the
story delves deep into these allusions. An autistic boy, Christopher,
our narrator, struggles to solve the murder of the neighbor's dog,
Wellington, through use of his favorite literary detective, Sherlock
Holmes. A "dazzling, deeply funny, poignant, and fascinating" novel.
