Unreachable Star Reviews August 9th, 2006 (SPOILERS)

book this week.

Ultimate X-Men #73 - "Magical: Part 2 (of 3)" (Story: Robert Kirkman,
Pencils: Tom Raney, Inker: Scott Hanna)

Professor X confronts Eliot about his manipulations to get on the
X-Men, and the whole team winds up fighting him.

Really, that's about all there is to say on it, as it mostly is
about the fight, and the last couple pages. The fight's not bad,
with the fact that people occasionally forget why they're fighting
adding a little interest to it, but it's not terribly special. The
ending packs a bit more of a punch, but we'll have to see how it
develops. It's a middle part, with neither the interest of the
first part or the satisfaction of a good conclusion.

Nonetheless, this is my pick of the week. Heck, it's my pick of the
last two weeks!

Well, that's it for this week folks. Next week, according to the
shipping list, there's only one book again, Runaways #19. Since I buy
more than 4 books a month, that probably means the week after is going
to be overloaded. Hopefully it'll even out a little soon, though.
