Upcoming events at Mystery One Bookstore in Milwaukee
If you can't make it, books can be signed and or personalized and

Author Events

CARRIE A. BEBRIS
TUESDAY, MARCH 2ND AT 7PM

Ms. Bebris, a Wisconsin resident and Milwaukee native, is the author
of a new historical series featuring Jane Austin's Mr. and Mrs. Darcy
as sleuths. She will be signing and discussing the 1st book in the series,
Pride and Prescience.

IAN RANKIN
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 3RD AT 7PM

Mr. Rankin, the best selling crime writer in the world outside of the US,
is an example of the mystery as today's modern literature. His famed
Scottish police novels, featuring Detective John Rebus, have influenced
a new generation of British crime writers. Sir Ian will be signing and
discussing his newest in this brilliant series, A Question of Blood.

BLAKE CROUCH
THURSDAY, MARCH 4TH AT 7PM

Mr. Crouch is the author of first crime novel that is dark, twisted and
impossible to put down. You will sleep with the light on while you read
this. He will be signing and discussing Desert Places. Advance buzz is

TIM DORSEY
MONDAY, MARCH 22ND AT 7PM

Mr. Dorsey is the author of a Florida mystery series featuring the half

plotting and excellent social commentary. He will be signing and discussing

the newest in the series, Cadillac Beach.

JOHN CONNOLLY
SUNDAY, APRIL 4TH AT 11AM

Mr. Connolly is the author of the highly praised and collected series
featuring
PI Charlie Parker. Although this series is very dark noir, Connolly's
writing is
brilliant and lyrical. He will be signing and discussing his first
non-series novel,
a crossover of horror and mystery, Bad Men.

LAWRENCE BLOCK
MONDAY, APRIL 12TH AT 5PM

Mr. Block is one of America's finest writers, a multiple Edgar and Shamus
winner
and an Mystery Grand Master. His novels range from dark to funny. His
writing
contains one of the finest narrative voices in fiction today. He will be
signing and
discusing his newest Bernie Rhodenbarr, The Burgler on the Prowl.

PHILLIP MARGOLIN
MONDAY, APRIL 12TH AT 7PM

Mr. Margolin is one of the finest suspense writers working today. Nine of

have been New York Times best sellers. Mr. Margolin is also a mystery
expert and collector. He will be signing and discussing his newest
thriller, Sleeping
Beauty.

JOHN DUNNING
FRIDAY, APRIL 16TH AT 7PM

Mr. Dunning is known, both for his excellent writing and for being a noted
book expert,
maven and dealer. His series, featuring ex-cop and book store owner Cliff
Janeway, has been praised and collected by many. He will be signing an
discusing his
newest, The Bookman's Promise.

REED FARREL COLEMAN
SATURDAY, APRIL 17TH AT 11AM

Mr. Coleman, cult star and former Milwaukee resident, is the author of a
fine series
featuring Moe Prager, ex-cop, PI and wine store owner in Brooklyn. This is
another series that has been critically praised and collected. He will be
signign and
discussing his newest, Redemption Street.
