If I remember correctly, wasn't there something Claudia said to Louis when
she asked him to sire Madeline about how he and Lestat made sure not to make
her strong enough to sire another??? If that's so, maybe that's why her
powers were never that strong. She couldn't hear the thoughts of the Paris
vampires like Louis could either.
