Vintage All About Book Childrens Book Series in DJ, lot of 5
This is a 1950s vintage lot of 5 childrens book series titled, (All-about
Book). They are all in excellent condition with their original dust
jackets. They are published by Random House, New York and are described as
follows:
1) All About Radio and Television (#2), by Jack Gouild (Radio and
Television Editor of the New York Times). Book illustrator is Bette J.
Davis. The book is Second Printing, Copyright 1958. The book is 144 pages
with over 100 illustrations and explains how TV and radios function.
Excellent condition with no damage to book or dust jacket. There are no
loose or missing pages, no tears, soiling or any other damage to either book
or dust jacket.
2) All About the Insect World (#6), by Ferdinand C. Lane. Book
illustrated by Matthew Kalmenoff. The book is Sixth Printing, Copyright
1954. The book is 141 pages, full of illustrations and provides a vivid
account of the insect world. Excellent condition with no damage to book.
The dust jacket has a small torn piece off the front., other wise no other
damage. There are no loose or missing pages, no tears, soiling or any other
damage to either book.
3) All About the Weather (#5), by Ivan Ray Tannehill (Director,
reporting and forecasting of the U.S. Weather Bureau). Book is illustrated
by Rene Martin. The book is Tenth Printing, Copyright 1953. The book is 148
pages, full of illustrations and explains the weather. Excellent condition
with no damage to book or dust jacket. There are no loose or missing pages,
no tears, soiling or any other damage to either book or dust jacket.
