WWII USMC Leatherneck Magazine, Iwo Jima - Pacific Edition, c. 1945

This WWII USMC Leatherneck Magazine dated April 15, 1945 is in very good
condition. It is the Pacific Edition, Volume 2, Noumber 8 with special focus
on Iwo Jima. The magazine is 40 pages. The first 23 pages is devoted to the
Marines on Iwo Jima with detailed photographs of the initial landings, Mount
Suribachi, damaged landing crafts and am-tracs, Marines in combat camo
utilities, and more. The remaining magazine is the typical sections of
latest battle-front news, home news, sports, cartoons and such for the
troops. The pin-up girl for this issue is Lana Turner. The magazines is very
good condition because of crease (fold) down the center (see pictures).
Otherwise, in excellent condition with no tears, rips, loose or missing
pages, stains, or any other damage.
