Post subject: Whooo hooo

I thought some good news might not be amiss, and I need
someone to share my excitement with.

I found out tonight that I'm to go for my promotion to
Brown Belt (2nd Kup) on Saturday! I've been put off
for the last two because I wasn't ready, and it feels
good to finally get there. One more step towards black...
I might make it some day.

Congratulations.

Sasha hands Sam a plate of fudge. Upon close examination, it is shaped like
a belt wrapped up in a circle.

What form of martial arts are you in? My hubby just got his black in Tae
kwon Do.

I do Kyukido, which is a mix of tae kwon do, hapkido, judo and jujitsu.
Getting to the higher levels, I have to know the falls, the holds,
the throws, and the locks, as well as the strikes, blocks and kicks.
And all the Korean... I enjoy it, though, and my instructor is a great guy.

Congratulations back at your hubby.
