Collins, Wilkie. THE FALLEN LEAVES. First Series. A New Edition. London,
Chatto and Windus, nd. ca. 1890-99? A leaf just before the title page
lists about 120 titles in the publisher's "Cheap Editions of Popular
Novels," including this one and several others by Collins. 16 mo (18 x 12
cm) in maroon marbled boards, with tan leather spine and corners. The
compartmented spine is decorated in gilt with the title in gilt on a black
label. Marbled endpapers and edges. (x), 355 pp. Moderate wear. Some
scuffing on the corners and spine. Bookplate of Ophelia Farquharson inside
the front cover. A sound, clean, very good copy. $250.00 U.S.
