I also knew Bill - we meet @ a thanksgiving dinner were Bill & his wife
were invited in Atanta. Bill told me he had a record of Tibeten monks &
we went back to his place & brought it to the party where we ran everyone
out of the room playing it while we triped. Bill told me that what I
needed was a spiritual girl friend - wow - along came Georgett. But Bill
also fell in love with Georgett - one night after drinking at the Red Dog
Salon in Buckhead, the 3 of us went over to Bill's. Bill had taken off
all his clothes trying to get Georgett & I to join him in the bed when his
wife walked in - she was not to happy. Think the marriage ended shortly
afterwards.
Bill tells Georgett & I of the opening of Naropa Institute in Bolder.
By then Georgett, who had become my lover had decided to move back to
Calif. where she had lived before. Bill leaves for Bolder - then Georgett
leaves & I after taking my sons to their moms in Hamilton, Canada, hitch
to Bolder. First Georgett finds me - she had decided to check out Naropa
on the way & then we find Bill. He was rooming with some pretty straight
Naropa student who he was hitting up on his reputation as William's son to
get drinking $'s. Georgett & I move in to much to the dislike of the real
roommates. Georgett sunbathing nude on the open patio in view of all the
other apts. Bill seemed to be happy really cutting back on his drinking -
sometime I have wished I had locked Bill up - just done something. After
the first session at Naropa was over Bill had through much pleading had
become Georgett's lover also. When she said she was going on to Calif.
Bill could not resist - he decided to go to. I had to go back to get my
sons. I later heard that Bill was back in Bolder drinking even heavier
-do not know what happened between Georgett & Bill - so often I have
wished that I had traveled with Bill & Georgett for when the 3 of us were
together there truly was a sence that Bill would listen to us some - who
knows. Have many more stories of the adventures of Bill, Georgett & myself
- atrribute that part of my life & Bill with turning me into the spiritual
being I am today. If anyone knows of the where abouts of Georgett Lowery
please post!
