What is the worst DK's adaptation to the small of big screen ?

For me, it has to be Whispers. Everything about it was awful; from the
script to the players. The one who played the twins, Jean Leclerc, is a
French Canadian actor who made it here before the States. Remember, he had
a big role in All My Children. You should see his reconstructed face,
today. He looks like Joan Rivers, for heaven's sake. Poor guy.

Don't know if it's the worst, but for me, Phantom certainly was the most
disappointing. It had an awesome cast and a perfect opening twenty mintues,
then....sigh.

I have no opinion on this, Martin, as I gave up watching the movies
after seeing Watchers.

Intensity was great, flawed in some parts, but a very noble attempt. And Mr
Murder mini-series was not awful, but it had a fundermental flaw that I
could let slide.

For me it was Watchers. I couldn't get over a )then) 16 year old (prob 14-15 when
filming) playing Travis! Turned it off after about 10 minutes.

I agree, Intensity wasn't exact to the book, but I felt it was the best of his
adaptations.

Good move too by the sound of it. I put it down after I read the back cover
of the video. Has anyone watched Demon Seed? Not crazy about the book, but
the back cover of the video seemed accurate enough.

Jeremy Hunter. I remember him. What did he do to his face?? An accident
or vanity??? Whispers was almost as bad as Watchers, IMO. The books were
so good.

That is so sad. Robert Blake did that. He looks just awful and did from
day one of his plastic surgery. A facelift that left him looking anything
but himself. I haven't seen any pics of Jean post surgry and don't know
where I would, but he once was very good looking. He's not THAT old!!!
What was he thinking???

Linda, I'll try to find a Jean Pic in the days to come. I'm not promising
anything. But if I do find one, i'll post it, or i'll post the link.

You'd think I'd read the box. Instead I saw the title and snapped it up.

Guess you can't judge a movie by its cover either. Cheers, saved me the two
bucks to rent it.
