Author of 200 books or so. Many of them are for children.

His first was "Yankee Bat Boy" in 1955. Others are "The Book of Sports
Lists," "Sports Bloopers: Weird, Wacky and Unexpected Moments in
Sports" (with wife, Phyllis Hollander), "Strange but True Football
Stories," "The Masked Marvels: Baseball's Great Catchers," and "The
Complete Handbook of Soccer."

Whoops. Seems there's a deceased younger man with that name - even the
library database was confused about that. Trouble is, I can't find
anything about the sports writer's recent life, really.
