Greetings,
Recently I have been rereading some of my old Asimov books and a
question has poped into my head. Years ago when I was deeper into the
scifi circles I recall there being debates that the "Isaac Asimov" we
all saw in pics and at publicity functions was an actor hired by Asimov
early in his career to deal with that aspect of his life. That he was a
private person who just wanted to write without all the obligations
that went along with his increasing popularity.
I've done some searching over the last few days but have not found any
solid resolutions to this debate, though I have found some sites about
it with differing answers.
So if anyone can answer or point me to the answer, I would be grateful.
Duncan
