Hi folks! Drinks all round, BB please.
I've been off for a week or so, mostly in Kent, to see my grandbaby. I do
hate staying in other peoples' houses though. No doubt a deficiency in my
soul, but I do like to be at home.
Grandbaby is an independent, stubborn little individual, so she fits
right in. Then I was off to Sussex to see my brand new niece, who is also
a delight; sitting straight and tall and trying in a stubborn and
individualistic way to dive right into the fireplace. Fingers crossed,
everyone, that the adoption process has no wrinkles in it; she's already
too much part of the family for anything to go wrong now.
Many happy birthdays to all of those I missed.
Found some small gargoyles in Rochester, was tempted to bring one home
but decided the rude gesture it was making would set a bad example to the
residents. After all, they don't need any encouragement.

There seem to be gales in these parts at the moment, and a fallen tree or
two out the back. You couldn't have a bit of a creative munch-fest and
carve a nicely rounded comfy bench or two could you? I'm an aged granny
now, I need a new seat or two in the great outdoors.

Not sure what this html stuff is. Does it have a decent cellulose content?

Welcome back with or without extra gargies! I was beginning to worry:
without you to keep an eye on them, who knows what the woodlice might get
up to?

Ah, it's too late now of course, but maybe I should have thought of it
the other way around. Exposure to our own gargies would be sure to have a
civilising influence on the uncouth Kentish Gargies.
An expedition to the south-east should be attempted perhaps. Ha ha!
Can you imagine it: missionary gargoyles!

Destroying my herb garden seems favourite. Maybe I could get the wiggies
to rig up some defense. A parsley protection squad. I cold offer them
some old beer I found lying around the place as an inducement.

Hoi! That wasn't us. Nasty fresh herbs, don't agree with the superior
woodlousely digestive system.
Probably aphids. Unless there are track-marks, in which case it might
have been the Armoured Earwig Carriers on manoeuvres.
