Is there any plan for a sequel to Everville? Has Barker said anything about
stories beyond Great & Secret Show and Everville? Thanks in advance.

Hiya!

When it was his 50th birthday in Chicago last year, he had a good Q&A
session before he started signing copies of Abarat. He said that the Abarat
quartet is a personal obsession of his with one book coming out every year
until 2005. After that he stated that Galilee 2 would take about 2 years to
write and that should be around 2007. The Third book of the Art (about damn
time!) will take about 3 years to write therefore 2010 is your answer. He
told me that it is going to be a motherfu#*ing monster of a book that he
wants to be word perfect because it has to be!

Kindest and coolest regards

Cookie

PS We can live in hope for a Cabal sequel!

Does that mean that the second book of the Abarat should be out in the next
three months?
