I'm looking for a book read in the late 70's/early 80's. I believe it
was one of the little "Golden Books" - about one of the Sesame Street
characters. One of the stories in the book was about one of the
characters (I think Oscar the Grouch)going to the movies. The marquee
of the theater read "The Grouch That Ate Racine".

Is this enough information for someone to remember the book and let me
know the title?

Don't know about the "golden book" but Heath...your book is from a
series called Nursery Zoo books published by Thomas Nelson & co. I
cannot remember the exact title.
