Also, something the Perfect Author has not done, we get to see the teenage
boy being moody and difficult for the sake of being moody and difficult,
rather than being well behaved and receptive to advice.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Very good, I got alot of the same impressions when I read the book. When
I was done the first thing I thought is 'she is in so much trouble for
this'. Bush, Ashcroft and the others like them have got to hate this
book, it glorifies/encourages student rebellion. Personally I think
that's a good thing, but you can bet that the book will get banned in
some places just for that.

Well, don't tell Ashcroft, but the third book includes a man imprisoned
for a crime he didn't commit...

And that came out before the Great American Brain Robbery.

The Fan-Review thread - I thought it'd be a fun idea to have a thread devoted to fan reviews of books. Basically, you do up a review of any of the Honorverse books or short stories then give your opinions upon it. Why you liked or disliked it and in the end, give a 1/10 ratin...

Next book due out when? - I know that this could be construed as somewhat premature, given that At All Costs doesn't get published officially until October, but does anybody have any idea as to how long we'll be made to wait for the next installment after AAC? October 2006? ....

Next book - I went and bought it at Baen. They didn't off an e-book yet so I guess I'll have to wait. I could have bought some of his other books that I haven't read but the bolo series was sort of drained for me. My main problem is that I don't see tanks as the...
