Hmm. I was never very fond of "Sourcery", actually, and while I enjoy
"Mort" a lot I would almost suggest that it's probably better to read
it after getting a few glimpses of Death in other Discworld books
first (which isn't hard).
I wonder if anyone out there has a "Custom Pratchett Book List"?

P.S. I always like to plug one of my own favorite fantasy novels in
threads like this: _Dragonsbane_, by Barbara Hambly. I won't write a
full review here, but it's an interesting take on clssic heroic
stories. It's serious, not satire, so it doesn't fit directly with
this subthread, but it's very good.
