That's how I got started! Good old SFBC!
Our first one was SAINT CAMBER, and we got CAMBER OF CULDI and DERYNI RISING
shortly thereafter. Funnily enough, I didn't have any problems with
starting the Camber trilogy with the middle book. I was hooked! (I was also
fifteen years old, and not really at a point where the disparity in style
between the young Kelson books and the Camber trilogy was anything to
notice--it was on my second read through that I started nitpicking...)
And all these years later, I still love them all. Even the ones that made
me cry...
