The Greatest American Hero premiered in ABC television network 18th of
March 1981 and ended 3rd of February 1983. It was recently awarded The
Best Retro Television Release on DVD by the Academy of Science Fiction,
Fantasy & Horror Films, USA.
The Greatest American Hero TV series was a superhero drama-comedy which
focuses on Ralph Hinkley a school teacher who encounters an
extraterrestrial creature. The Alien gave Hinkley a bright superhero
costume that can give extra ordinary powers to whoever wears it. The
only problem is that Hinkley accidentally lost the costume's manual
that made learning all of its capabilities very difficult.
