If you are continuing to read the boards perhaps you still retain a love
of comics.
You are sensible in budgeting for more important things than comics.
When you become more solvent you will have the knowledge imparted by the
board members to direct you to trade paperbacks that are interesting.
You can certainly gain some insight to avoid titles which would waste
your money.
For the economically-minded, trade paperbacks can be scanned at your
local Barnes and Noble (or somesuch) while you pick up a cup of coffee.
