In one of the books I read it said that Spock had been killed on Romulus.
When did this happen?

It is no secret (nor should it come as any surprise) that humankind's most noble impulses often surface during the most tyring of times, that human spirit rises to the challenge when faced with adversity, that human strength is born from human failings...Is it any wonder, then, that the SDF-1 crew became a tighter family after the fortress had been exiled than it had been before?

I don't think there's any chance that the books would be allowed to
kill off Spock. He would have to be killed off "officially" in a movie
or on TV, and the chances of them doing another movie/TV project
directly involving Spock are nearly zero.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

I think Shatner killed him off in one of his books. But don't ask me which one,
I don't read them.
