Was Blood Canticle supposed to be the last one of the Vampire Chronicles?

Yes, and Mayfair witches. (unfortunately), but she's said it before, so
maybe after a break she'll come back and tell us what has happened to
all of our favorites.

Her sister still writes good books though. more in the
fantasy/Arthurian type realm. but still, good reads.

I think its obvious by the way Canticle ended that it is left wide open
for a continuance.

Not to mention there's always the "New Tales..." series.. unless, of
course, she's put the heave-ho on that one, as well.

she'll be back.
