I was turned off from the chronicles when I saw Interview with the Vampire.
Then Queen of the Damned intrigued me enough to go out and get the books.
The books have opened my eyes to a story the neither of the movies even came
close to. I like them so much that I even got a friend hooked on them
(until she got pregnant - now she only reads baby books).
