Hello all,

Been lurking here for awhile now, so I thought I would give a brief intro..

39yo male living in the Detroit metro area, avid reader of fantasy,
scifi, suspense, horror...

I found out about REF when a friend handed me a copy of Magician and
almost DEMANDED I read it. I was blown away! I read it in less than 2
days, losing much sleep! One of the scenes I always describe to people
is when Milamber/Pug was in the Coliseum and couldnt stand by anymore
and just watch the carnage. When he started calling down the elements I
got chills. I think I re-read that passage 3-4 times before moving on.

Up until just now I thought I had read almost everything REF had
written, but after checking crydee.com, somehow I skipped the entire
Legends of the Riftwar series! Certainly gonna have to rectify that!
(after I read Exiles Return)

Love seeing all the great posts here, and am impressed that Ray actually
posts here, and interacts with his fans. I wish more authors had that
kind of integrity, and I am honored to be counted among his fans.

I look forward to reading more!

James
