expensive novel award, but....maybe okay????

Did anybody else see this? I was shocked when I saw the submission fee
($150!) but it IS by Kirkus and whoever wins DOES get their book
published, by a Time Warner publisher. I looked that up....they publish
David Baldacci and John Feinstein and Anita Shreve and James Patterson
and on and on and on. I decided I wouldn't make the cut and so I wasn't
going to spend the money. But they've extended the deadline. (It was
November the first, now it is Dec. 1.) Has anybody done this? I'm
pretty sure I will now. I put in the link below if you don't know about
it.. Let me know what you think!!
