Subject says it all really,

Pug, it has to be really, such character development. There aren't many
characters who you can say have developed over 15+ books! We have been
with him from the start, and at the rate feist is writing at the
moment, I hope for many more!

Jinny the Hand and Roo Avery. Both started at the bottom, but went on to
give everything for Krondor.

I'm reading this and for the life of me can't remember how Roo
went. Can someone please refresh my memory?

Old age, but he lost everything in the Serpentwar, and had to start again
from scratch with just the one wagon they used to escape in.
I asked Ray if Roo ever got any of his money back, and he laughed and asked
what did I think ? Who has ever heard of a government repaying that sort of
cash !

Ahhhh, that's right. Now that you have reminded me, I remember thinking
the same thing! Considering where Roo came from, I wouldn't bet the
house on him dying poor. He was a pretty shrewed finance man, 'specially
when he could keep his thoughts out of his pants! ;P

Thanks for the reminder.

I forget exactly what it said, but it mentions a bit about what
happened to Roo in one of the latest books.

When I first read Magician Pug was, from the first word, my favourite. You
just knew that he was destined for greater things.
As I continued to read the books, Jimmy the Hand quickly became another
favourite. Jimmy was the most common of the common, a sneakthief and
pickpocket, but he had an innate nobility. And finaaly my other most
favourite character was Nakor the Isalani. he had to be, just had to be,
more than waht he professed to be.

He gets a passing mention in Talon Of The Silver Hawk, where Talon is
reading Roo's biography.

The first four words of Magician are "The storm had broken." "Pug" is
the fifth word!

My answer: Fantus. I have a difficult time picking between the humans,
elves, dwarves, and other races.

Arutha I, Jimmy, and Guy. I'd still like to read the untold story of Guys
dealing with the Eastern Nobles and all the political intrigue that
surrounded them apon his return to Rillanon.

Hi NG,

I would like to say that it is not very easy to say which character is
the best for me at all, because i think there are so much nice
characters. One of my favorite is "Jimmy the Hand". "Thomas" is also
quite nice. In my opinion every character has his own one point that is
quite cool.

Greetings from Germany,
Wolfgang.

That would be Mara of the Acoma.
Then Pug, Thomas and then Lujan.
