A Scanner Darkly the Film. - I tried and tried to get hold of this film in South Africa, but couldn't. So I it at work. Having seen it, I have to say it was I have read the book and I don't think I have seen a film that stays so close to the book

although i must say, that i would prefer 'palmer eldritch' to be
directed by gilliam - combined with some of his animations in monty
python style...

i also do not think that "paycheck", "minority report" or "total recall"
(especially the rated version) are bad movies - probably not in a
PKD-sense, but they seem pretty entertaining to me - especially on a
hangover sunday...Smile

i was very dissapointed with this until i just forgot about pkd and
