Another possibility is "The Weans" by Robert Nathan. The story is about
some archeologists who discover the Washington D.C. area about 5,000 years
from now, long after our current civilization has destroyed itself. Digging
through the remains, they determine that we called Washington the "Pound
Laundry". Similar humor applies to many of our present cultural artifacts.
The name refers to the term the archeologists determined we called
ourselves.
