Funny lad, not a mention of JCs, seeing as it's the old JC's
(official) birthday in 30 mins (I'm in .au) i think that's
downright rude.
You can't get proper Marmite here, you know. I might just come
home early.

No Marmite?
Next you'll be saying they don't have Jaffa Cakes or proper beer...
cheers,

The beer's all fizzy and weak - not like our beer.
No Marmite, or JCs, though, so I'll be looking for some on eBay

Watch out on Ebay, there's lots of fake Jaffa Cakes on sale, and worse are
the Jaffa Cake pyramid schemes, where it looks like you are buying a crisp
new pack, but it turns out you are merely buying information on where to buy
them. >> Stay informed about: the flying swan |

I've been wondering for a while... Is there a niche in the market for a
website selling ex-pats their favourite British food? I know I've always
missed proper teabags when I've been abroad for any length of time.
How much would someone stuck overseas pay for a can of Heinz baked beans, HP
sauce, or a nice packet of authentic Jaffas? >> Stay informed about: the flying swan |
