hi wifey,
don't bother refreshing on the last Potter, coz, as usual, there's lots of
reminders of past stuff in the new book.
Just finished it yesterday, and I'll admit...I cried. I TOLD you I had a
feeling...and I was right...and...
Now I don't even feel like getting back into The Stand right away...but if I
don't do it soon, I won't do it at all. And that would be so very sad.
I miss Douglas Adams....well, this happens often.
Lovin',

Hehe, yeah I've got sons. I didn't make 'em, but nobody claimed 'em so they
are mine now. They are 13 and 11. I've also got a 16 year old daughter
(I've been trying to get her to read Abarat or Thief of Always without much
luck).

I finished it last night. It ended about how I thought it would generally,
but I enjoyed it very much. Harry is developing quite the temper. How long
does she (J.K. Rowling) usually take between books?
Not sure what I'll read next.

No. Didn't know there was one. Thank You. I'll seek it out when I go to
find Three Penny Opera. Plays adapted for screen can be so evil.
And thank you for the correction, I was nowhere near the book when i had
posted.

Yeah... Tim Roth and Gary Oldman... well worth seeing. There are some slight
changes... some visual jokes that aren't in the play, but they work well.

I finished "The Church of Dead Girls" last night. It was a good book.
Dobyns is a bit different in his style than what I am used to, but I did
enjoy it. It was one of the few books I have read where I didn't guess the
outcome in the first 100 pages.

I am still around.
I don't always have time to read newsgroups, but I check back to see
if there is any news about my beloved Clive.
I'm doing a lot better than at this time last year, except for dealing
with the heat wave we are currently experiencing.
Thanks for asking!

Hmmm, can't say I've heard of the book... time for an amazon lookup...

Chuck Pahalniuk - Survivor
Chelsea Quinn Yarbro - Writ in Blood
Unit Testing in Java
Writ in Blood is slow plodding and not really going very fast ( so much
for the "its a real page turner" bylines ) so I started Survivor as
well... which so far kicks arse.
