Ash-Tree, Kirk, NRO - Ash-Tree Press just got a nice plug for theirs and John's second Kirk volume this morning in The Corner on National Review Online. John J. Miller, who reviewed the first volume for National Review in January, had this to say about the second: KIRK'S.

The fairy Tree of Bourlemont (1 of 2) - This one is not from a magazine, is not really in book form (I own copies of two and is not a short story. But many of you have still never heard of it, I would bet. It is the third chapter of the novel

Yes, I can think of few things likely to be less welcome in a shower
than an angry Willy, especially one dressed as his mother.

Though to be pedantic, showers usually have curtains rather than doors
(and to be even more pedantic, doors can usually be locked). Thus on a
point of accuracy you would have better off saying:

"Just make sure you lock the door time you have a shower."

(Which would have merely allowed me to make the 'angry Willy' joke.)

If you ever need an editor - and let's be honest, you clearly do -
please don't call me. It'd be a fulltime job.
