Looking at *just* your response, that is opposite to the description of

Ah, but they'll probably be calling from India. At least you could do
it on-line. I've been running around gathering signatures and fax-
machine hunting so I could take two physics courses this summer. The
paperwork was for my community college. Wanted their approval form, my
college's approval form, proof of district residency, etc etc. and
I'll have to simultaneously attend my 8-am Advanced Ochem class and
attempt to register, on-line.

Isn't it *fun* being a grown-up? The excitement, the glory, the freedom!

the paperwork

(I'm doing my taxes tonight. Or maybe tomorrow.)

Ah yes! What ever happened to the exciting, adventurous life of an

I've been doing other people's taxes for a month, now.

Only good thing is I learned something new this year and got myself
a refund because of it.

At least you get the consolation of a paycheck. :>

It is a consolation. I think of my paycheck all the time, when I'm
dragging myself through the cruddy parts of my job.

(Gah. A whole month? Ugh. My condolences.)

"Ochem", as in "Oh-my-God-what-did-I-just-sign-up-for-Chem"? Wink

Are you taking any radiochemistry?

Well, I AM a CPA. Comes with the territory.

And the month before that, I was doing corporate year ends and tax returns.

And the month before THAT I was doing payroll tax reports.

And next month, I'm doing more taxes and more payroll tax reports.

And THEN I'm running away. I look forward to that part.

Me too. And if it's not income taxes, it's inheritance taxes.

I suppose every job has a bit of nasty territory. That's why it is a job,
not a hobby.

(Although hobbies can have nasty territory, too. Hmmm.)
