Just a long weekend to Las Vegas. I hate gambling, and I refuse
to spend any time in the smokey casinos, but laying by a pool and
drinking something fun while I read books or doze, and going out to
wonderful dinners and wonderful shows are definitely favorite activities
of mine. Five days of doing nothing and letting other people take
care of me sounds wonderful. And maybe a spa, as well...

I also hate the smokey casinos -- I know smoking and gambling are
traditional companions, but do smokers really gamble so much more that a
smoke-free room is out of the question? -- and gambling. (One too many
statistics and probability classes in my history.)

But a spa, and a pool, and a book... Have fun!

Would it really count as "running away" if we knew where?

Actually, Kiwiland is looking better every day. At least their emigration
requirements are easier than Canada's! ! !

I'm trained (and work) in electronics, my better half is trained as a vet
tech, but currently drives a school bus (weak ankle). Neither one of us
qualify for emigration status according to the Government website (That I
can't locate right now of course). We DO qualify, same credentials, to
emigrate to either N.Z. or (believe it or not) Estonia!
