Hi everyone,

Not too good at this sort of thing, as new to newsgroups in general.

Avid mystery reader from Australia. My favourites are Sharron McCrumb, Ellis
Peter, Elizabeth Peters, Ruth Rendell, Steven Saylor, Paul Doherty, Agatha
Christie and basically any others I can get my hands on. Smile

I like other authors too, but not in the mystery genre so won't mention them
here.

If you can recommend any other authors, would love a list. If there are any
guidelines I need to know regarding posting here too, please pass on so I
don't err. Wink

Many thanks,

Womguin.

I wouldn't worry much about any guidelines for posting in this
newsgroup. It has not been very active lately, so it's pretty much
"anything goes" now.

My favorite authors are Michael Connelly and Robert Crais. There are
others I like too, but these two guys are my favorites.

It's a mystery, eh? <g>

My guess is alt* groups are still considered sort of renegade and not
worthy of serious discussion. Also, I feel Usenet groups in general
have taken a serious hit from web-based forums.

It's been quite some time since I've looked at rec.arts.mystery.
Perhaps it's time to check it out again for awhile. Thanks for the
tip.

*lol* funny (about the mystery).

Well, if this place is a little quiet I have some questions that may liven
it up a little. Stay tuned. Smile
