Hello,

I want to frame a leaf of a rare document. Could somebody tell me where I
can find at a reasonable price, a frame (Acid-free matting) with UV
filtering glass?

I try through the web; very difficult to find.

Thanks,

Eu-to

go to a frame shop and explain your needs. Search web for "archival
framing".

Frame - easy. Archival matting (mounting your document onto the boards)
is harder to find. Ask around - any city should have at least one
framer who actually knows what's what. Or go and read
http://amol.org.au/recollections/ buy your bits from Lineco and do it
yourself.

UV _glass_ is tricky, you'd be better with acrylic (Perspex/Lucite) UV
glass needs a surface coating and is very expensive.

And what's a "reasonable price" ? Whenever I hear that, it's usually
followed by a price that is much less than reasonable, even for flipping
burgers in McDs.
