My guess is that a) They are still in the theatre watching it for
the third or 4th time or b) they are recovering from what I've
been told was an emotionally intense film.

I'm not going to get to see it until the 26th of this month so
you'll have to wait a bit for a review from me. Smile

Well, it is about 3 hours long and Elvis did not return.

<mournfully> I have to work... </mournfully>

Well, that's why I'm not seeing it during the workweek. I'd had
tentative hopes to see it this weekend, but that's gone bust, too. I
just learned a good friend of mine is fresh out of the hospital (she's
fine, she'll recover, but it was a squeak close enough I am now busy
reminding myself Not To Freak Out) so I'm spending Saturday with her.
And she's not a fantasy fan. <sigh>

(But she's alive, so I'm happy.)

Wonder if there will be anyone at work on Xmas Eve to notice if I duck
out early?

It was wonderful, marvelous, the best of the three, and you must see
it. Again disappointed at the parts of the story left out, but understand
that they did not serve to advance the story, and at 3.5 or so hours, it's
long enough as it is -- until the extended version comes out, anyway! Smile
