I like Firestar and miss her as a character.
If she comes back, I'd like to see her retconned to have fire powers instead
of microwave powers.
I understand they wanted to make her different than her cartoon alter ego,
but her powers are too dangerous to use against anything organic. Not that
fire is good for anything organic either, but microwaves seem too severe.

Scarlet Witch, and reform the Peter David X-Factor. Though Firestar's not a
bad choice either.

Nightcrawler, Storm, Sunbird, Darkstar (or one of the other Russian
'Avengers'), and other international heroes. Give them a mobile base (such
as a yacht), and have them deal with the kind of issues that were originally
a big part of the X-Men and drew the current Magneto to the movies. For the
first story arc, crossover with the new Indian Spider-Man.
Other than that, an established, non-mutant character.OK, they added
Juggernaught....but it's hard to see him in the same light as say, She-Hulk
or Darkhawk. >> Stay informed about: Who should join the XMen? |

The phrase is 'currently dead'.

Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Beast, Firestar, Justice=The X-Avengers
Seriously, I wouldn't mind any of them joining the XSE team. It might give
the public more trust in the XSE. "Marvel Boy" and Marvel Girl on the same
team would be too much, unless they want to copy the Avengers' use of both
"Spiders."

Yup yup. She was kinda dead once before (in an issue of Cap), but somehow, her
Darkforce saved her (a Darkforce monster ran amuck, absorbing people's
lifeforces to restore her). Theoretically, this could happen again.

And this means what in Marvel Comics? Darkstar was my first choice from the
Russian team due to her having been on the X-Men cartoon. (An added bit of
marketability, especially if Marvel can get ABC to run the episodes about
she shows up.)

Note the word 'established'. Darkhawk may be a bit old to qualify, but the
point stands well with She-Hulk. However, any of the Avengers taking a walk
from the team could qualify as well as her, especially if they served with
Beast.
Enough people ask the question 'Why are 'mutants' feared and other super
heroes revered?' to bring in a character that can force the issue.
Juggernaught doesn't qualify because the fear he generates is due to the
fact that he's destroyed a lot of people's lives in his rampages, and anyone
not already established will be assumed to be a mutant due to association
with the X-Men.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ --> >> Stay informed about: Who should join the XMen? |

The X-Men have far more than enough members. They don't need more.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ --> >> Stay informed about: Who should join the XMen? |
