Now I've broken my duck as far as attending a recording of ISIHAC, I've
signed up for another one - this time, the Christmas Special, entitled
"Humph in Wonderland"...

Ho Ho <bzzz> repetition.

Au Res.,
Paul (just back from the Terracotta Army - not a patch on the Sgt-Major's
troups of course, but wonderful to look at anyway! - and from a recording
of "Recorded for Training Purposes" - prior to which my Swiss Army knife was
taken from meand bagged for Security Purposes - though I did get it back
after the recording, and I wasn't the only person with a potentially
dangerous item to reclaim! I forgot it was in my pocket to be honest, so
used am I to it being there - for entirely practical purposes. Well, a chap
never knows when he might come across a horse with a stone in it's hoof...
Even in London...)

On the other hand, I bet you but rarely encounter a horse with a boy-scout
in his hoof.

He seldom if ever meets a horse -- it is this that makes him sad -- if he
does, then it hasn't a stone in its hoof. But he would if he did and it
had!

My hubby had the same sort of problem with a neat
all-in-one type gadget that he used to wear on his
belt. Confiscated at an amusement park, returned on
the way out but it was basicly a part of him. Came in
useful in the "old days" of flying when they gave us
uncut bagels and a packet of cream cheese and a
plastic knife that snapped in two when we tried to cut
the bagel. Nowadays, no bagels, no cream cheese and
absolutely no knives of any kind, even plastic.
Sounds like you had a wonderful time.

I did! (I didn't mention the coffee and cake at the M&S in Marble Arch,
which was nice!) And it has to be said, the knife wasn't taken away from me
at the museum, so if one of the Terracotta Horses had had a hoof in their
stone, I could have helped...

Oh, and if anyone is interested, it's the Victorinox Camping model what I
bought in Geneva a lot of years ago and I feel lost without it (which means
I will be a little unsettled when I fly over to visit my parents in Ireland
for a couple of weeks in October... The security at Stansted definately
won't give it back!)
Au Res.,
Paul (about to make a sossy sarny for dinner)

"Hold luggage" springs to mind.

My Victorinox isn't a Camper, though it's roughly the same size. It's a
Climber. It has one blade that is incredibly good for getting hair out of
bath plug-holes, but purports to be for tightening bootlaces. Personally I
think it is meant to be a sky-hook.

Ah! Therein lies the problem. I won't have any hold luggage - Mater and
Pater kindly offered to take my bags over with them when they went back a
couple of weeks ago (as they are coming back over for a short stay a week
after I come back, they are bringing it back with them too!), so all I'll
have is a shoulder bag containing a book, iPod and sweeties for the plane.
'sok. I can do without for a week-and-a-bit.

Au Res.,
Paul (Realising that now might be a good time to replace the keyboard on
this PC as the occasional coffee spills seem to have had an adverse affect
on the apostrophe key, which now needs a determined thump to get the
character to register...)
